Heat Press Batting Together

Don't worry about leftover batting - Heat Press Batting Together is a new product designed to help you "tape" two pieces of batting together to make a new, continous piece. It's heat activated - simply center the tape over the seam and press. This tape is so lightweight and thin that you will not know it is there. It comes in ten yard packages for $7.99 a roll and is only 1 1/2″ wide.

Warm Tater

This is a 100% natural cotton batting from the Warm Company, made for Potato Bags and other microwave project bags like for corn on the cob, tortilla shells, and rolls. This batting has not been chemically treated, and does not contain resins or glues which could cause scorching when microwaved. It is a heavy weight (6oz loft - about 1/3" thick) natural cotton that acts as an insulator keeping the moisture inside for fresh, hot, fluffy potatoes - no need to prick potatoes first! There is a free pattern for a potato bag right on the wrapper. Made in the USA.

TIP: Do not use fabric with metallic accents or metallic thread when making items to be used in your microwave. Wash your potato bag between uses without using a fabric softener. Never leave your microwave unattended when cooking using a bag, especially if your microwave doesn't have a turntable. Your bag may develop hot spots. Cooking times will be shorter.
