Hello Friends of the QuiltBug!  We will be closed on Sunday the 17th for Father's Day and again on Thursday July 4th!

QuiltBug is in Row x Row 2019
the theme is Taste the Experience, here's a hint.... our block has to do with grapes!  Here are the Row by Row Rules:

  • Visit any participating RxR quilt shop to pick up your free RxR Taste the Experience themed row pattern. One pattern per person.
  • Each shop creates a pattern, then gives it away for one row in a row quilt.
  • Collect as many rows as you can, then mix and match your rows to create a fun and unique quilt.
  • Have fun traveling, shopping and collecting as many different patterns as you like during the RxR collecting period, June 21–September 3, 2019.
  • Have more fun making the rows and designing a quilt. Visit other participating shops all over the US, Canada and Europe to add rows to your quilt if you wish.
  • Anytime between June 21–October 31, 2019 be the first person to bring a finished (quilted, bound, labeled) quilt using at least 8 different rows from 8 different participating stores into a participating quilt shop and receive a bundle of 25 beautiful fat quarters.
  • Rowers may include The 9th Row and RxR Junior designs in a RxR quilt, but they may not be counted as one of the 8 rows needed to win a prize.
  • Include the shop’s row in your quilt and receive a bonus prize! Limit one prize per person.

* June 22nd join Color Play with Katryn Greenwold, You will gain understanding of why you like some colors, and dislike others (but how to use them anyway and love the outcome!) Participants will work through several exercises using the Joen Wolfrom Color tool and walk away from this class being comfortable coordinating colors for your projects.

June 24th 10:30 -- Kathryn Greenwold will teach Bears in the Courthouse again for anyone who would like to attend!

June 29th Kimberbel's Patriotic Pillow Class with Latefa starting at 10:00.
This is round two for the Kimberbel's pillow!  If you completed the Spring Flower pot pillow come on in and try this one! It's adorable!

Upcoming Classes and Events

Beginners Combo

This class is a combination of Basic Beginners and Beginners and Beyond. As beginners finish the classes offered them they can continue to the more advanced stages of quilting techniques and various quilt blocks. Since each student is encouraged to progress at their own pace, everyone will be at different points of learning. Everyone shares their own piecing experiences, conundrums and in turn discovers that we all make mistakes and we work our way through them. Students can join at any time as this is an on going class.
