Scrappy Friends

New Years Day 2018 Mystery Quilt

(this is just a snippet so we don't spoil the mystery)

Gather your scraps to make this twin sized quilt which sparkles with friendship. Yes, this quilt uses half square triangles!  It finishes 53" x 73" but I made my outer border bigger to take advantage of a stripe in a fabric. I used a 6-1/2" border so my quilt measures 58" x 78".  It is planned for a twin bed.  As usual, this pattern will convert to a paid pattern in a week or so.

Please send me your pictures!  You can send them to quiltbug.com@gmail.com or to the Facebook group.  I will post them here.  Tuesday morning, I will select 10 winners for over $200 in prizes.  These are chosen at random, so the more pictures you send, the more chances you have.  Fabric choices, completed clues, finished blocks - it all counts!

If you are local to the shop, I will be teaching this quilt January 20.  Sign up here.

Yes, we will be doing a Super Sunday Quilt!  It's called "Three Cheers for the Red, White and Blue" and is a good size for a Quilt of Valor.  Sorry I can't give you much of a sneak peek without giving it away - it's actually a fairly easy quilt, great for beginners.  Sherri will be teaching that one on February 20.  Sign up here.

Click here for more information on the Super Sunday Mystery February 4th.

Lastly, we will be doing a Sleep-At-Home retreat Presidents Day weekend.  Come and work on your own project, or work on our latest pattern, Garden Dreaming. No worries, just food, fun and fabric.  Sign up here.
